The 890 Men's Residential Program is a 115 bed trauma-informed facility that provides therapeutic services to individuals seeking substance use disorder treatment. The 890 Men's Residential Program is staffed by an interdisciplinary clinical team of substance use disorder counselors, mental health therapists, psychologists, psychiatric nurse, monitors, outreach specialists and interns. We utilize an evidence-based curricula i.e. (Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) for individual and group counseling/therapy. The length of treatment can vary with a minimum of 30 days to a maximum of 90 days for DMC eligible individuals and up to six month for individuals that are paroled.
The Clinical Director of 890 Hayes Men's Residential Services functions as the on-site liaison between mental health, substance use treatment services and other internal agency components as well as outside entities. This position may require the Clinical Director to have a caseload to provide individual and group therapy services. This position reports directly to the 890 Hayes Men's Director of Residential Services.
