Job Summary: This position reports directly to the Vice President for Community Programs and provides leadership to the family support services ensuring the program maintains high quality standards, meets target outcomes, goals and objectives, budget or financial targets, and complies with applicable local, state and/or federal regulations, statutes and / or guidelines. This position is also a member of the Agency’s leadership team and works in conjunction with the leadership team on agency-wide issues including program development and oversight, strategic planning, and budget oversight. - Provide supervision, direction and guidance to staff working in family support services so that clients and the community receive timely, appropriate services.
Program Management - Administers required records, reports, and data for program and ensures that all certifications, reimbursement and funding requirements are fulfilled in a timely, accurate manner.
- In cooperation with the Vice President for Community Programs and CFO assists in preparing annual program budget with services that are cost effective and meet budget projections.
- Implements programs based on assessment of service area needs and emerging trends in the field and recommend changes in services as appropriate.
- Participates in strategic planning, program development, program expansion, and project management for family support programs.
- Supports the professional development of program staff
- Strives to ensure that direct service staff have the resources they need to best serve clients while ensuring services are of the highest quality
- Ensures program adherence to Agency’s human resources and fiscal policies, standards, and principles.
- Manages government/foundation contracts including seeking funding opportunities, writing grant applications, reporting program and fiscal outcomes, developing budgets, and ensuring contract, outcomes, and funding compliance.
Community/Partner Liaison - As a representative of the Agency shares our values, knowledge, and skills with other organizations, community groups, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders. Maintains good relationships with stakeholders and partners to advocate for clients and those working in the field of human services. Establishes themselves in the community as a thought leader around family support services and our vision and values (Family Services Vision: As the premier Agency of choice, Family Services will assure that every family and individual in need can receive the services and support necessary to reach their maximum potential).
Quality Improvement - Under the guidance of the VP for CP ensures that the program complies with all relevant regulatory, licensing and credentialing requirements—including program compliance with internal policies, procedures and processes.
- Strives to ensure that program services are of the highest quality possible, are client centered and provide optimal outcomes through the use of best practice interventions.
General Responsibilities: - Member of leadership team meetings; actively participates in discussion and decision making, offering ideas, insights, and recommendations that ultimately impact the overall quality of the agency; attends program team meetings

- Provides feedback, advice, and support to the VP for CP as it relates to family support services, key opportunities, and strategic planning
- In conjunction with Vice President for Community Programs and Associate Director of Program Development & Outcomes Management ensures timely filing of all reports to maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines, contract requirements and fiscal standards.

Other Requirements: - Ability to frequently and efficiently travel to Agency locations across three counties (Dutchess, Ulster, Orange)
