Position Overview Summary

Under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or designee, this position works to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families served. This position works closely with youth, family, foster care and community partners, providing counseling or therapy, advocacy, and support toward the ultimate goal of living safely and successfully in the community.

Responsibilities

National Youth Advocate Program is urgently seeking an engaging, passionate, and energized Intensive Home-Based Therapist with a desire to make a lasting impact in Belmont County, OH.  In this position, you will work as part of an integral service team to deliver Intensive In-Home Services to at-risk adolescents, youth and children, as well as their families, who have been identified by County Agencies.

Requirements

  • Master’s level education required
  • LSW or LPC required. (LISW or LPCC preferred)
  • Experience in providing both individual and family therapy
  • Experience with TF-CBT preferred
  • Requires the ability to meet clients on a flexible schedule
  • Must be comfortable providing services in the community and in client homes.
  • Must be willing to travel throughout the entire county to meet with clients (generous mileage reimbursement)
  • You have good computer and technology skills
  • Must be willing to accept other job duties as assigned
  • Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
