Position Overview

Program Manager will provide clinical and administrative supervision to a dynamic, energetic and skilled clinical team for Intensive Home Based and Outpatient Mental Health program that is growing. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Provides close clinical supervision for complex cases.
  • Provide administration coordination for program contracts while aggressively seeking the growth and expansion in the local market(s) through relationships with key stakeholders. 
  • Provides clinical supervision for Therapists and Family Service Coordinator both individually and group supervision.
  • Leading staff meetings.
  • Oversees Intensive Home Based and Outpatient Mental Health programs.
  • Reviews and signs off on clinical paperwork generated by the Therapists.
  • Leads clinical team of multi-professionals and trains and supports team members. 
  • Coordinate all intake services, initial paperwork, and documentation. 
  • Maintain productivity standards on a monthly basis. 
  • Provides administrative scheduling of on-call. 
  • Leads Continuous Quality Improvement for the program.
  • Coordinate with other agencies in the local community as needed.
  • Makes public appearances and presentations as requested.  
  • Work collaboratively with other NYAP programs and staff throughout the organization. 
  • Perform all duties in accordance with personnel policies and the program’s fiscal guidelines. 

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution. 
  • Two years’ direct experience in child welfare management.
  • Must hold a professional and valid licensure: LPCC-S or LISW-S
  • Must demonstrate close attention to detail.
  • Relevant experience working with individuals being served through the child welfare and/or juvenile justice system. 
  • Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs. 

 

Other Skills

  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license 
  • Some travel is required 
  • Must be open and willing to work non-traditional work hours as well as on-call responsibilities 
  • Must be able to embrace working as a diverse team both effectively and respectfully with persons of any background, race, color, religion, sexual orientation, ability, national origin, or culture 
  • Provide excellent internal and external customer service 
  • Must possess good verbal, listening, and written communication skills
