The NYAP Cleveland team is seeking an engaging, passionate, and flexible Licensing Coordinator to support our foster families. A person in this role will engage and meet the needs of onboarding foster parents so that they are successful in the foster parent licensing process. They will work in conjunction with other types of social workers and foster parent recruiters.

 

You are our ideal candidate if:

  • You have a degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • You have 2 years of work experience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred.
  • You have a valid professional license: Ohio LSW or LPC with Tier I or Tier II assessor credentials
  • You have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record.
  • You're willing to work flexible and non-traditional hours in the service of foster caregivers, families of origin, and persons served.
  • You have the capacity to be flexible and responsive to youth served, foster caregivers, system partners, and internal customers.
  • You have the capacity to remain objective and professional in all areas of job function.
  • You are respectful and sensitive to persons from various cultures, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious and racial backgrounds. 
  • You are comfortable with public speaking.
  • You are proficient with technology and are comfortable learning new things and do so quickly.
