Our Dayton, Ohio team is seeking an engaging, passionate, and energized Social Worker with a desire to make an impact. Social Workers work as part of our integral service team to deliver tailored services to youth and their families.

We are offering a $1,500 Sign On Bonus for this position.

You are our ideal candidate if:

• You understand that being a Social Worker at NYAP is much more than paperwork and schedules.
• You have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• You have a valid professional license (LSW or LPC).
• You have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record.
• You have a willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours to youth served, foster caregivers, system partners, and internal customers.
• You’re a people person and naturally build genuine relationships with those around you.
• You’re an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• You're a time management pro.
• You’re proficient with technology and are comfortable learning new things, and do so quickly.
• You're respectful and sensitive to persons from various cultures, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious and racial backgrounds.
• You have the capacity to care and still remain objective and professional.
