Position Overview

Summary

This position summary is for individuals who are independent contractors with National Youth Advocate Program. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Interview prospective foster parents and write a home study review according to NYAP structure and requirements.
  • Contractor responsibilities vary and are outlined in a signed agreement between the independent contractor and NYAP. 
  • Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program’s mission, values, and philosophies.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
