If so, the National Youth Advocate Program is looking for YOU! 

 

National Youth Advocate Program is seeking an engaging, passionate, and energized Family Services Coordinator with a desire to make a lasting impact in Lucas County, OH.  In this position, you will work as part of an integral service team member, assisting the IIHS Therapist to deliver In-Home Services to at-risk adolescents, youth and children, as well as their families, who have been identified by Lucas County Children's Services.

We continue to expand and develop new and innovative programs for our communities and families.

You are our ideal candidate if:

  • You have a degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
  • You have 2 years of work experience working in direct service with youth and families. 
  • You have a valid professional license as required and acceptable by state or contract regulations preferred
  • You have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record.
  • You have a willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours in the service of foster caregivers, families of origin, and persons served. 
  • You're comfortable providing services in the community and in client homes.
  • You're willing to travel throughout the entire counties to meet with clients (generous mileage reimbursement).
  • You are proficient with technology and are comfortable learning new things and do so quickly.
