National Youth Advocate Program is seeking an engaging, passionate, and energized Family Services Coordinator with a desire to make a lasting impact in Logan County, OH.   In this position, you will work as part of an integral service team member, assisting the IIHS Therapist to deliver In-Home Services to at-risk adolescents, youth and children, as well as their families, who have been identified by Logan County Childrens Services.

RESPONSIBILITES:

 • Coordinates and monitors services for the youth and family, including but not limited to, mental health, medical, educational, psychological, vocational, and social services.

• Regularly reviews and modifies youth based plans to assure consistent progress and success on written plan goals.   

• Provides safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as required to assure safety and stability for youth served. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
  • 2 years of work experience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred. 
  • A valid professional license as required and acceptable by state or contract regulations preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record.
  •  A willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours as needed
  • Requires the ability to meet clients on a flexible schedule
  • Must be comfortable providing services in the community and in client homes.
  • Must be willing to travel throughout the entire counties to meet with clients (generous mileage reimbursement)
  • You have good computer and technology skills
  • Must be willing to accept other job duties as assigned
