The NYAP Wheeling team is seeking an engaging, passionate, and flexible Facilitator to provide support to youth and families in coordination with the Safe at Home Program.

Facilitators work as part of an integral preventative team that ensures safe and positive permanency.

We continue to expand and develop new and innovative programs for our communities and families.

You are our ideal candidate if:

  • You enjoy building relationships and have strong organizational skills.
  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
  • You have two years of direct service experience working with youth, families and communities. 
  •  You have experience in family facilitation, mediation, or conflict resolution.
  • You are familiar with strengths-based assessment and planning, preferred.
  • You’re an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • You are a time management pro and meet deadlines.
  • You are respectful and sensitive to persons from various cultures, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious and racial backgrounds.
  • You are flexible and can be responsive to serve our community.
  • You have the capacity to care and still remain objective and professional.
