Mental Health Professional - Assertive Community Treatment Team

We are pleased to announce this fulfilling employment opportunity to help carry out our agency mission. We believe that people with mental disorders and substance use disorders can and do recover. Recovery is defined as a process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live self-directed lives, and strive to reach their full potential. We have been providing person-centered services to this population for over 30 years and the Assertive Community Treatment team has been in operation since 2005. We provide services in the most integrated community settings and support competitive employment and independent living. The ACT team includes a Psychiatrist, Clinical Team Lead, two to three Registered Nurses, a Mental Health Professional, substance use specialist, peer specialist, vocational specialist, and numerous practitioners.
The Mental Health Professional is a fully integrated member of the team and together with the Team Lead and Psychiatrist, provides clinical support for the team. The Mental Health Professional provides comprehensive empirically based individual therapy to the individuals served by the team. This position also supports the Team Lead and Psychiatrist in educating the team on evidence-base treatment approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Specific Care, Exposure Therapy, and Wellness Management and Recovery. The Mental Health Professional will act as a clinical and administrative back-up to the team lead when the Team Lead is absent by helping with clinical decision-making in collaboration with the Psychiatrist, and assisting with scheduling changes in response to emerging clinical needs.

Qualifications: • Master's Degree in the Behavioral Sciences • Licensed as a Mental Health Professional in the State of Minnesota (LICSW, LP, LPCC, LMFT) • 2000 hours of experience working with adults with mental illness and substance use disorder
Additional Salary Information: This position is eligible for a full benefits package including paid medical, dental and life insurance, a 403b match, 4 weeks PTO first year, 10 Paid Holidays, and mileage and parking reimbursements. Compensation for this position is $80,000.
