The Coord-Performance Improvement 3 organizes and coordinates performance improvement program activities and workflow.
Collaborates with multidisciplinary team on problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services and systems/ performance measures.
Researches, develops/acquires and implements improvement systems, methodologies, and tools to improve operations.
Collaborates with Leaders to develop and revise screening indicators.
Provides on-site training and follow-up for performance improvement teams.
Forms and coordinates multidisciplinary teams of health care providers, leaders and related disciplines for analysis of current care delivery design, identification of key leverage points for dramatic improvement, and successful implementation and outcomes measurement of the new design.
Maintains ongoing knowledge of scans of the internal and external health care environment for best practices in care design that delivers safety, timeliness, efficiency, effectiveness, and patient-centeredness.
Manages all aspects of analysis, redesign and implementation including defining, sequencing and timing implementation steps, identifying and engaging key stakeholders, leading the creation of communication, training and education plans, identifying resources needs, return on investment, key measures of success, and alignment of key constituents through incentives/rewards.
Lean Healthcare Management Certified preferred.
Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification preferred.
Certified Quality Professional specializing in Healthcare.
Bachelor's Level Degree
Bachelor's degree in a clinical area required Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), a healthcare field (eg nursing), education, learning, communication arts, or industrial engineering preferred
5 years of experience in the healthcare industry required with significant experience in clinical operations and/or care design/process improvement leadership.
Formal training in Performance Improvement tools (examples include Lean certified, Green Belt Certified).
