Opportunity for the next step up in your career! This position is an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven healthcare professional with the passion for leading a talented team of Case Management and Social Work professionals in a very large integrated health system.
As Director of Case Management you will lead acute care based RN and Non-RN Case Managers and Social Workers. Candidates must have career experience with developing systems, policies, procedures, and processes to capture and analyze data to drive department performance, and to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Also, developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with nursing colleagues and other professionals throughout the health system, as well as, external key stakeholders is a vital component of this position.
The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Nursing or a healthcare related field required. Registered Nurse or other healthcare professional with an active DE professional license.
Five years of experience in both Utilization and Case Management.
Three to five years of management experience, with demonstrated experience handling a variety of healthcare surveyors including, the joint commission and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
Experience in third party contracting, URAC standards, outcome analysis, project management and data systems required.
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality or Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification is preferred.
