Responsible for oversight and management of direct agency provided clinical services for adults with mental illness. Program assignments include Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Case Management/Supports Coordination and other related programs. Responsible for the planning, development and management of assigned programs, and review of clinical performance. Participates in fiscal management for the assigned programs, analysis of current program and clinical needs, and oversight of policy and procedure development. Collaborates with community partners, courts, law enforcement, schools and healthcare organizations, to ensure effective use of resources.
Minimum of a Master’s degree in social work, psychology or counseling, with current Michigan license appropriate to field of study required. Must qualify as a Mental Health Professional with at least two years of post-graduate experience in behavioral health and supervision of mental health professionals required, along with at least five years of progressively responsible professional experience in clinical treatment and crisis intervention services, for people who have a mental illness and/or a co-occurring disorder. Possession of a Substance Use Disorder credential is preferred. Starting range of $56,700 - $62,350, plus exceptional fringes.
