We are currently seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) for our Individual Residential Alternative (IRA) Program servicing developmentally disabled individuals in the Bronx, Manhattan and Roosevelt Island.
The AVP will oversee full operation of IRA’s throughout the Bronx, Manhattan and Roosevelt Island and supervise the Residence Manager and support staff. Ensure program is operating, maintained and complies with OPWDD and agency policies and procedures. The AVP will plan, direct and coordinate the financial, personnel and individual care activities of the IRA component. Prepares, oversees and approves all IRA Fiscal requests budgetary expenditures. Ensures provision of comprehensive training to staff, monitors and maintains compliance with all staff certification through supervision of Residence Manager. Conducts Facility Inspections to ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations; prepares and coordinates for program assessments. Chairs Quarterly Incident Reporting Committee Meetings and maintains record of trends and patterns of incidents. Chairs monthly IRA Communication Meetings. Provides coverage during absence of Residence Manager.
