Plans, organizes, and directs the major activities of Behavioral Health Services of the Human Services Department. Establishes unit program policies; provides clinical, technical, and programmatic supervision to provide oversight of development and provision of direct client services; directs the activities of assigned units and personnel; and performs related work as required.

Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a field directly related to the administration of human services, such as Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or Human Service related field
Three (3) years of full-time, progressively responsible professional experience in service program
Three (3) year of supervisory experience including: program development, planning, evaluation, and administration; budget development and administration; and interpreting and applying local, state, and federal legislation, regulations, policies, and rules governing administration of related programs

Our services and programs have a direct impact on over 10% of the county's population. Our progra...ms serve abused and neglected children, adults and children with mental illness, adults and children with developmental disabilities, youth offenders, adults and youth with alcohol and other drug problems, and children, youth and adults in need of residential and institutional care. We are also the agency responsible for the protection of vulnerable adults and adults at risk. Our Economic Support Unit administers the Food Share (SNAP) Program, Medical Assistance, Child Care Assistance, Energy Assistance and Badger Care Plus.
