People Incorporated Mental Health Serviceshelps children, teens and families overcome emotional problems and situational barriers in order to improve their lives and family relationships. OurDay Treatmentprogram in Golden Valley is searching for a full-timeClinical Supervisor/ Program Managerto supervise our Elementary Program. We provide intensive therapeutic programming to children, ages 5 - 11 years, who have been diagnosed with mental illness and severe emotional and behavioral disturbances.
Typical hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm with occasional evening appointments to accommodate family schedules.
TheClinical Supervisoroversees and participates in the daily operations of the elementary day treatment program to ensure safe and effective programming and adherence to standards. Program components include individual therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, social skills groups, and family therapy. Some of the specific responsibilities include the following:
Providing weekly clinical supervision to mental health professionals and practitioners
Conducting weekly staff meetings with program staff
Ensuring that staff are maintaining clinical records in a timely and accurate manner in adherence to Rule 29 and CTSS guidelines
Overseeing intakes and referrals to ensure that programs are at full capacity
Conducting diagnostic assessments and intake meetings with new clients

Position requirements include:
Current and valid Minnesota state license as a mental health professional (LP, LICSW, LPCC or LMFT)
One year of post licensure experience
Board certified as a clinical supervisor
Preferred qualifications include:
One year of supervisory experience
Experience providing individual and group therapy to elementary aged children
Experience working with children who have emotional and behavioral challenges
