Applications are requested for an academic professional at the assistant/associate lecturer level for the University of Wyoming. This position is physically located in Laramie. The anticipated start date for this position is fall, 2017. Social workers with 1 year of experience teaching in higher education are encouraged to apply.

The Division of Social Work offers a Generalist BSW program and an Advanced Generalist MSW program enrolling approximately 75 undergraduate and 40 graduate students. The University and the Division of Social Work maintain outreach centers across Wyoming providing excellent opportunities for community practice and research. The MSW program uses teleconferencing to deliver portions of the curriculum statewide. The University of Wyoming is located in Laramie, a town of 30,000 in the heart of the Rocky Mountain West. Responsibilities include: teaching across curricula: a range of BSW & MSW classes; student recruitment, admission, and advisement; field liaison work; and University and community service. The position may require evening teaching, travel within the state, and teaching using distance delivery systems.
