Job Description
The Washington DC based National Association of Social Workers (NASW) - DC Metro Chapter, a professional association with over 1550 member, is seeking a dynamic and energetic leader to serve as its full-time Executive Director. The successful candidate will be competent in all aspects of nonprofit association administration and possess a minimum of five years of managerial experience.

Position requires a self-directed executive who is capable of being actively involved in the day to day operations as well as all executive management functions. Salary is $75,000 to $80,000, with an excellent benefit package. NASW-DC Metro is an equal opportunity employer; women and people of diversity are encouraged to apply. Requirements
A bachelor’s degree is required, MSW preferred. Proficiency in communications, financial management, MS Office, conference planning, member services and volunteer management is required. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have experience in membership marketing, social media, strategic planning, community organizing, staff supervision, and demonstrating knowledge of social work values.
