Child Study Center Is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team! This is for a full time Autism Service Line Social Worker position!
This position will coordinate and facilitate the administrative aspects of the Autism Services Department.
Key areas of responsibility: 1. Educating families on services available, 2. Assessing family and patients’ current social situation, 3. Coordinating all administrative activities, 4. Coordinating interdisciplinary staffing for children served in the Autism Services Department, 5. Serving as clinical care manager for selected patients, 6. Establishing referral patterns and coordinating and facilitating referrals, 7. Monitoring compliance with funding sources, 8. Evaluating and updating patient reading materials, 9. Coordinating educational opportunities for families.

Requirements |

|
The successful candidate will possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work, current license as a Social Worker (LSW) in the State of Texas and two (2) to five (5) years of experience working with families with a member with Autism Spectrum Disorder required. Previous experience working in a Pediatric Hospital a plus! Exceptional communication, problem solving and organizational skills required. Must be able to relate well to the public, demonstrate good communication skills, knowledge of community resources and ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with staff and community agencies.
