Taylor University is seeking applications and nominations of distinguished candidates to teach in the School of Professional and Graduate Studies, Department of Social Work. This is a tenure-track position beginning August 2010, pending final budget approval. Appointment will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, and salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.
Teach a broad range of social work courses particularly in the areas of human behavior in the social environment, family systems, history and development of social welfare and social policy. Represent the program in university, local and professional community contexts. Student advising, practicum supervision, student service learning application, student cross cultural experiences supervision and committee assignments are also included.

Requirements |

MSW with at least two years of subsequent practice experience. PhD or DSW in social work or closely related field is preferred. Candidates with MSW degree only must be willing to further social work education. A record of both successful college teaching and professional experience is desired. Candidates must be strongly committed to the educational mission and evangelical Christian orientation of the University.
