RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach three, three-credit hour social work courses and direct field education each fall and winter semester. Advise students concerning the academic requirements of the program, their academic plans and schedules, course selections, and semester registration. Assist the program director in achieving the goals and objectives of the program. Teach social work practice courses and required foundation social work content courses. Coordinate and administer field practicum consistent with CSWE Education Polices and Accreditation Standards. Consistently monitor and evaluate students in field placements (including site visits). Organize and facilitate training for field site supervisors. Maintain relationships with local social service agencies and organizations. Maintain accurate and current field practicum records. Maintain and distribute current Field Education Manual. Contribute to continual program improvement through annual analysis and evaluation of program outcomes and objectives. Serve as faculty advisor to the social work student organization. Serve as academic advisor to social work students. Prepare required information for maintaining accreditation. Serve on one faculty committee, attend Social Work Advisory Committee meetings, and participate in the recruitment of students to the program.
