Job Description
Provide direct clinical supervision to bereavement counselors and use clinical skills to support other reporting disciplines. As a leader and clinical manager you will be called upon to support social workers who are not under your supervision.


Requirements
Education
Master’s Degree in Social Work with Clinical licensure (LCSW) in Illinois

Experience

  • Advanced clinical social work knowledge and experience
  • Previous management experience required
  • Grief counseling experience preferred
  • Experience working with adults, children, and families or clinically supervising work with these groups

Other Requirements:

  • Knowledge of grief and loss issues as related to illness and death a plus
  • Appreciation for complementary therapy services such as massage, music therapy and music-thanatology
  • Creativity and patience required for program development in a changing work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work within multiple systems; manage multiple tasks within a complex system
  • Ability to balance prgram needs vs. organization needs
  • Ability and desire to learn/know/develop basic computer skills to meet demands of job
  • Unlimited access to a reliable car, current driver’s license and liability auto insurance
