Job Description

Our programs at North Star work with the family and the community to help facilitate optimal growth and nurturing throughout times of childhood adversity. Our goal is to help young people get on a track that leads to a life of youthfulness – the life that child and adolescents deserve.

We are currently searching for a Mental Health Specialist III/Clinical Therapist on an evening shift to join our well established team. This person will be responsible for providing direct care to patients with psychiatric disorders, be responsible for ensuring the safety and well being of patients, and supporting the maintenance of therapeutic milieu. This position is also responsible for providing leadership and direction to the staff in Mental Health Specialists I and II positions. The Clinical Therapist responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, leading group and maintaining patient documentation. This position will be a combination of supervisory and therapeutic duties.

NOTES: 3 openings.
Additional Salary Information: Depends on experience

Requirements
This position requires a Masters degree in a clinical field such as Psychology, Social Work, etc. This individual must be knowledgeable about a variety of treatment modalities and skilled in the treatment of individuals and families. Experience working in mental health or with children or teens is preferred.
